Head of Finance - Oakham - Attractive package

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Head of Finance with immediate effect for our leading client based in the Oakham area of Rutland.

Head of Finance:

Our client is looking to recruit someone who really understands what the numbers mean, and isn’t afraid to get involved in how a business actually runs.

As a long-established business in the East Midlands, and this role sits right at the centre of the group. You’ll be working closely with the directors and senior team, helping shape decisions that impact the whole business.

This is a hands-on role with real visibility and responsibility.
What you’ll be doing:
– Weekly performance reporting and monthly management accounts
– Leading credit control and transactional finance
– Managing group cashflow and working capital
– Overseeing audit, compliance, and financial controls
– Supporting directors with strategy and decision-making

What they're looking for:
– Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
– Experience leading a finance team in a busy, multi-entity environment
– Strong communicator who can work across all levels of a business
– Commercial mindset, not just technical finance focus
– Comfortable being hands-on and involved in the detail
