Offshore Commissioning Supervisor - Doggerbank

Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Supervisor with both mechanical and electrical backgrounds to support offshore installation and commissioning activities on the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Project. The role involves coordinating commissioning teams, ensuring work is completed to project standards, and managing technical execution offshore.
Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical and electrical commissioning activities on offshore wind turbine systems.
- Coordinate daily tasks for technicians and commissioning teams on vessel or W2W operations.
- Ensure commissioning work follows OEM procedures, project documentation, and safety standards.
- Review and sign off commissioning check sheets, ITRs, and test results.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support resolution with engineering teams.
- Monitor progress, report daily status updates, and escalate delays or deviations.
- Conduct quality and safety checks to ensure compliance with offshore requirements.
- Lead pre‑commissioning checks, energization activities, and system function testing.
Requirements
- Mechanical and/or Electrical background (supervisor or senior technician level).
- Prior offshore wind commissioning experience (turbines, WTG systems, or balance‑of‑plant).
- Valid GWO certificates (BST minimum).
- Valid Offshore Medical (OGUK) + Chester Step Test.
- Strong understanding of commissioning procedures, documentation, and offshore QA standards.
- Experience working on offshore vessels or W2W operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
- Available for 12‑month offshore contract with potential extension.
