EMPLOYMENT LAWYER – IN HOUSE COUNSEL
SCOTLAND BASED [HYBRID] OR REMOTE WORKING
£60 - £65,000 - GOOD BONUS + BENEFITS | WORK LIFE BALANCE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and experienced employment lawyer with 3 yrs PQE++ to join a dedicated team to work in innovative new ways. The qualified candidate will have experience within both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Working with the in house team of a leading UK organisation, handling all their employment issues whilst building a sincere and enduring partnership with their internal customers.
Given the extensive nature of our client's business and its innovative and dynamic approach, the work will undoubtedly be varied, complex and engaging.

- This role will provide the opportunity to work with one client as a core part of its legal function, enabling the qualified candidates to gain a deeper understanding of the client's business and a closer working relationship with the client's in-house team;
- Whilst this role will be part of a dedicated team, the interested candidates will work alongside the UK Employment team and benefit from all of the team training.
Required experience and skills
- Candidates who are qualified solicitors 3 yrs PQE+
- Good academic record, including a degree or equivalent.
- Having experience working on general employment matters with a solid grounding in collective and individual redundancy processes, unfair dismissal and all aspects of discrimination.
- Ideally have experience in a wide remit of work, with an exposure to employment tribunals.
- Experience working with volume litigation is a valuable asset.
- Candidates will be required to handle a high volume of matters and to tight deadlines.
- Candidates are expected to have technology awareness.
- Expert drafting skills.
- Clear communication skills.
