Warehouse Operative – FLT Reach & Counterbalance
Location: Dunstable
Shift: Monday to Friday, 22:00 – 06:00
Pay: £16.45 per hour, increasing to £17.45 per hour under AWR
Contract: Ongoing Temporary, with the opportunity to become Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently recruiting for a warehouse operative to join night-shift team on an ongoing temp-to-perm basis.
The successful candidates will have experience operating both FLT Reach Truck and FLT Counterbalance and will be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities;
* Order picking and preparation
* Pallet put-away and stock movement
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Operating FLT Reach and Counterbalance trucks safely
* Maintaining good standards of warehouse housekeeping and hygiene
* Carrying out general warehouse duties and other tasks as required
About You;
* Valid and relevant FLT Reach Truck and Counterbalance licences/certificates
* Previous warehouse experience preferred
* Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bags weighing up to 25kg
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures
