Our client is a well-established multi-service law firm who is recommended by both Legal 500 and Chambers UK and, due to continued growth, is looking to recruit Legal Secretaries to join its Family & Childcare teams in St Albans, Barnet and Birmingham.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join a busy and growing Family & Childcare team. The role will involve providing day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to Fee Earners, dealing with clients and third parties and helping the team to run efficiently. Duties will include:
Providing day-to-day Legal Secretary support to Fee Earners and senior members of the team
Typing from digital dictation and completing copy typing
Managing electronic filing and maintaining files in line with firm procedures
Dealing with telephone calls from clients, Counsel, experts and other third parties
Managing diaries and arranging appointments and meetings
Dealing with clients and visitors to the office
Assisting with CCMS legal aid matters and applications
Processing fee notes and dealing with experts' invoices
Ensuring compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
Providing general administrative and secretarial support to the teamThese Legal Secretary positions are full-time, permanent roles working 9:00am - 5:00pm
Requirements
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal support role
Previous experience supporting Family or Litigation teams is essential
Strong organisation, communication and typing skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workloadVacancy Highlights
