The School and Role
Vision for Education are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Hailsham. This full‑time role involves providing 1:1 and small‑group support for two children in KS1, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive in the classroom.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, implement strategies, and create a positive, inclusive environment where both children feel valued, understood, and encouraged.

Requirements
The desired Learning Support Assistant will have:
Experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting (KS1 experience desirable)
A nurturing, patient, and positive approach
The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Confidence supporting children with additional needs
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
