JP Healthcare Recruitment is currently recruiting for a dedicated Residential Child Care Worker to join a children's residential service in Hampshire supporting young people with Learning Disabilities.

The Role
* Support children and young people with Learning Disabilities in all aspects of daily living
* Build positive relationships and celebrate achievements and progress
* Support emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing
* Assist with individualised care plans and daily routines
* Promote independence, life skills, and educational development
* Manage challenging behaviours in a therapeutic and supportive manner
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Undertake key worker responsibilities and attend professional meetings where required
* Support children both within the home and in the community
Requirements
✔ NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People, or willingness to work towards
✔ Experience working with children with Learning Disabilities and/or Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
✔ Resilient, caring, and passionate about supporting young people
✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✔ Full UK Driving Licence desirable
