The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join our client based in Swindon.
This is a varied role that combines general office administration, customer service, website content management, and health & safety administration. They are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage a range of tasks in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing general administrative support to the business.
* Answering and directing incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
* Assisting with social media and digital content.
* Writing and uploading news articles, project updates, and other content to help keep the company website current and engaging.
* Supporting the administration of health and safety documentation.
* Updating Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) using company templates to suit individual projects.
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring documentation is completed efficiently.
* Providing additional administrative support to the team as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
* Strong written communication skills with the ability to create engaging website and social media content.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
* A professional and confident telephone manner.
* A willingness to learn and support different areas of the business.
* Experience with health and safety documentation or RAMS would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
