The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major infrastructure project based in Little Marlow.
The project will involve sewage treatment works, heavy groundworks, large diameter pipe installations, and reinforced concrete structures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering major infrastructure works within the water sector.
Candidates with previous water industry experience would be highly desirable. However, strong heavy civils or groundworks experience will also be considered, particularly on large infrastructure or utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the successful delivery of works from pre-construction through to completion
Managing site teams, subcontractors, engineers, and stakeholders
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard
Managing programme, commercial awareness, and project reporting
Maintaining strict health & safety and environmental compliance
Coordinating works across groundworks, pipework, and concrete structures
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager within water, heavy civils, utilities, or infrastructure projects
Experience managing groundworks, drainage, large pipe installations, or reinforced concrete structures
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred
