We’re Hiring – Skilled Toolmaker Wanted!
We’re looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join a busy, well-established manufacturing team on a days shift.
If you’re hands-on, detail-driven, and enjoy keeping production running at its best, this could be the perfect role for you.
Please be aware that we are in the Clean Air zone. We have plenty of free parking available
Commutable from Birmingham, Walsall, Smethwick, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Brownhills, Wolverhampton, Wednesfield, Willenhall, Halesowen, Moseley and Minworth
Duties
* Maintaining, repairing and modifying press tools and tooling
* Supporting production to minimise downtime
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out precision repairs
* Tool try-outs, improvements and preventative maintenance
* Working with engineers and production teams to improve tool performance
* Ensuring tooling meets quality and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Toolmaker within a pressings/stamping environment
* Knowledge of press tooling, maintenance and repair would be advantageous
* Skilled in manual machining (milling, turning, grinding)
* Ability to read engineering drawing
* A proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail
* Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification preferred
