The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading construction business delivering high-quality projects across the region. About the role
As Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor, providing key input to support accurate reporting of project financial performance and forecasts.
You will play a leading role in developing the project programme and ensuring effective planning and delivery across all phases of construction.
Key responsibilities include:
• Working closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to support financial reporting and forecasting
• Developing and managing the project's master programme of works
• Ensuring no works commence on site until all H&S requirements and Construction Phase Plans are in place
• Preparing Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and supporting the Safety Plan
• Ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations as Principal Contractor
• Providing leadership, direction, and support to site teams and employees
• Managing labour resources and maintaining high levels of productivity
• Coordinating the timely release of design information and materials
• Ensuring compliance with company Quality Procedures and Standards
• Managing subcontractors and the wider supply chain effectively
• Overseeing quality control to ensure a defect-free handover
What we need from you
You will ideally be qualified to degree level in Construction or Civil Engineering, or have a strong trade background with substantial construction management experience.
You will have proven leadership and management experience within the construction or housebuilding sector, with the ability to successfully deliver projects from inception to completion.
