To support the day-to-day coordination of UK shipments, imports and exports, ensuring equipment and documentation move efficiently and customers are kept updated. The role will work closely with the wider logistics, sales and operations teams and provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and experience in shipping, customs and international logistics processes.
- Support the coordination of UK business shipments, imports and global exports.
- Assist with arranging deliveries to customers and internal STR locations.
- Coordinate intercompany movements of rental assets to support customer orders.
- Liaise with nominated freight forwarders, couriers and other freight partners to arrange collections and deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain shipping and customs documentation, with support and guidance from experienced team members.
- Follow STR processes relating to customs, export controls and Dual Use requirements, escalating queries where required.
- Provide logistics and asset status updates to the wider STR Group.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales and operations teams as required.
- Provide a high level of customer service through accurate and timely communication.
A relevant logistics, shipping, business administration or supply chain qualification is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
