The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and reliable Freelance Construction Site Manager to oversee a critical 12-to-13-week hospital refurbishment project in Runcorn.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and live-environment construction projects, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards while minimizing disruption to ongoing hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
o Site Operations: Oversee day-to-day site activities, manage subcontractors, and coordinate labour force productivity.
o Health & Safety: Strictly enforce NHS and site-specific health, safety, and infection control protocols (including permits to work and segregation in live healthcare environments).
o Program Management: Ensure the 12/13-week program is strictly adhered to, driving milestones and proactively resolving delays.
o Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all finishes and installations meet rigorous healthcare compliance standards.
o Stakeholder Communication: Liaise regularly with client representatives, hospital management, and design teams, leading site progress meetings.
o Documentation: Maintain accurate site diaries, manage inductions, and handle RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
Requirements
o Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial, public sector, or healthcare refurbishment projects.
o Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
o Current First Aid at Work certificate.
o CSCS Card (Black or Gold managerial tier).
o Thorough understanding of CDM regulations and healthcare compliance guidelines.
o Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
