HGV Technician – Workshop BasedAre you an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter looking for a well-paid, permanent night shift?
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Hemel Hempstead, working on a varied fleet of HGVs and HGV trailers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician looking for a consistent Monday to Thursday night shift, a strong hourly rate and a 48-hour working week.
The Role
As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
Working on a range of HGV trailers
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Working safely and efficiently within the workshopThe successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter
Experience working on HGVs and/or trailers
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
A professional and reliable approach to work
The ability to work independently during night shiftsRelevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or IMI Heavy Vehicle Maintenance are desirable, although experienced, time-served HGV Technicians will also be considered.
