This role is a 6month FTC and would suit either
* an experienced technical administrator/clerk or,
* an engineer seeking their first steps into Quality Engineering who has some understanding of Quality Systems paperwork.
We are a precision supplier of parts to the aerospace and defence industries. We hold some cool IP and have a keen order book for low-volume, complex parts.
What you will do:
* Provide administrative support for the Quality department. Specifically, this entails completing and recording data on FAIRS, ISIR, PPAP and APQP documents.
* Ensuring legible and on-time completion of documents.
* Working with data providers, communicating needs and timing.
* Turning data into information and finished documents
* Recording and archiving.
* Maintain timing plans and keep stakeholders updated of progress and data required
What you will need:
Either,
* Administration experience within a technical/engineering environment. Or
* Understanding of Quality systems and an eye for detail and competent IT skills.
Desirable:
* Previous experience working with engineering stakeholders
* Understanding of Quality documentation such as FAIRS, ISIR, PPAP, dimensional data, MSProject
