Requirements

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting
Genuine passion for Early Years education
Flexible, reliable and proactive approach
Strong understanding of professional practice and high-quality childcare

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for all children
Support children’s day-to-day learning through engaging play activities
Meet the individual emotional and developmental needs of each child
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children
Plan and create a nurturing, stimulating environment
Support children’s development socially, emotionally and educationally
Follow EYFS, safeguarding and child development frameworks
Observe, assess and track children’s progress
Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
Contribute to team meetings and share ideas
Work collaboratively to maintain high standards across the setting
