The company
This company is a fast growing and forward-thinking business within the construction industry. They are well established and have a great reputation within the local area. They are looking for an Office Manager to join their team based out of their high spec offices. This business works hard to ensure that every employee is valued and recognised for the work that they are doing within the in company which is proven by their stable team.
Duties:
Act as the main liaison between office departments and project teams to ensure the completion of action items within agreed timescales
Coordinate project-related orders and workflows
Ensure effective communication across departments and teams
Oversee administrative team and provide support and guidance to them
Maintain project related Excel spreadsheets with any materials used on site including pricing information
Oversee the booking of accommodation for the site team
Keep on top of the training matrix to ensure all site staff have relevant training in date
Order materials and plant to site and coordinating the delivery of equipment
Oversee the fleet management including MOTs, services, and parking tickets
Complete DBS checks for the site team
Look after any company insurance policies, as required
Maintain smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
Organise and lead departmental management meetings
Support timely follow up on team responsibilities
Conduct regular internal reviews of company systems and processes
Ensure systems and processes remain aligned with ISO standards
Identify areas requiring review and continuous improvement
Provide support to departments to ensure key priorities are completed
Create and review purchase orders Experience & Skills Required:
Previous experience in office management essential
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
A self-motivated team player with the confidence to work independently and lead others.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities.
The ability to think ahead.
