The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering the chance to play a key role in delivering complex offshore and marine engineering projects, providing technical leadership, assurance, and hands-on engineering support across a diverse project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the technical authority across projects, ensuring engineering solutions are safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose.
* Lead and oversee engineering activities including structural design, motions analysis, lift planning, and method development.
* Review and approve engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation in line with industry standards and company procedures.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide technical input into tendering, planning, and project execution, supporting both project and commercial teams.
* Attend technical reviews, client meetings, site visits, and offshore/onshore operations when required.
* Deliver practical, real-time problem solving during live operations and high-risk activities.
* Mentor and develop junior engineers, setting expectations around quality, accountability, and engineering best practice.
* Support continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Act as a key technical interface with clients, suppliers, and third parties, representing the business at a senior level.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related engineering discipline.
* Proven experience delivering complex engineering solutions within marine/offshore environments.
* Strong hands-on experience with:
* ANSYS (or equivalent FEA software)
* OrcaFlex for static and dynamic marine analysis
* Solid understanding of , Structural and stress analysis
* Experience producing and reviewing Engineering calculations and report
