Unity Personnel are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Yard Person / Driver’s Mate to join a friendly, family-run business based in Brighouse.
The Role:
This is a varied position combining yard duties and driver’s mate responsibilities:
•Working in the yard 2 days per week (09:00 – 17:00)
•Assisting as a driver’s mate 3 days per week, supporting deliveries nationwide (typically 8–10 hour shifts, with flexible start and finish times depending on routes)
Key Responsibilities:
•Ensuring all returned stock is checked and stored correctly
•Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe at all times
•Supporting the FLT driver with duties as required
•Unloading vehicles efficiently and safely
•Adhering to all health and safety procedures
•Assisting drivers with deliveries to bars, restaurants, and shops across the country
(Please note: this role involves heavy manual handling, including moving kegs and palletised goods)
