Junior Site Manager
Location: Vauxhall, London
Salary: Approximately £45,000 + Package
Project: Hotel Conversion

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Site Manager to join a growing main contractor on a hotel conversion project in Vauxhall.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is early in their Site Management career and looking to learn, develop and progress within an established construction business. The company is looking for someone with the right attitude, a good understanding of construction and the ambition to take on greater responsibility as the project develops.
The Role Working alongside an experienced project team, you will support the day-to-day management of the site and gradually take ownership of packages and areas of the project as your experience grows.

Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the day-to-day management of the site
Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades
Monitoring progress against the programme
Assisting with short-term planning and sequencing
Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
Ensuring works are completed to the required standards
Supporting Health & Safety across the site
Assisting with RAMS and site documentation
Identifying and helping to resolve site issues
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team
Supporting snagging, inspections and handover
Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team About You:
This role would suit an Assistant Site Manager or Junior Site Manager looking for the next step in their career.

You will ideally have:

Some previous experience working within Site Management
A good understanding of construction processes and site operations
Main contractor experience would be beneficial
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive, hands-on approach
Good Health & Safety awareness
The confidence to work with and coordinate subcontractors
A willingness to learn from more experienced members of the team
The ambition to progress into a more senior Site Management position Experience within refurbishment, conversion, hotel, residential or commercial construction would be advantageous, although attitude and potential are particularly important for this position.
