This is a commercial role focused on developing new business across vessel operators, offshore operators, ports, terminals and related marine service environments. The role will suit someone who understands technical sales into operational settings, where safety, compliance, performance and commercial value are key parts of the conversation.
The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, build trusted relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders, and support growth across a developing market segment.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Executive
* Build and manage a sales pipeline across maritime, offshore and port related accounts.
* Develop relationships with vessel operators, offshore businesses, marine service providers and terminal operators.
* Lead technical sales conversations around operational performance, safety, maintenance and sustainability.
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close.
* Support product demonstrations, customer onboarding and ongoing account development.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven sales experience within maritime, offshore, chemicals, marine services, coatings, ship supply or industrial services.
* Strong understanding of vessel operations, offshore environments, port operations or marine supply chains.
* Comfortable selling technical products or services into operational and safety focused environments.
* Able to build relationships with procurement, technical, engineering, HSE and senior commercial stakeholders.
* Comfortable with regular UK and international travel.
