Working Foreman

Location: London (Projects Across London)
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Our client is a well-established refurbishment contractor specialising in the delivery of fast-track pub refurbishment projects throughout London. Due to a growing workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Working Foreman to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis.

The successful candidate will start on a project in the City of London, before moving onto further schemes across the capital.

This is a hands-on role, requiring someone with a strong trade background who is comfortable leading a team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day works on site.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day running of refurbishment projects on site.

* Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to ensure programmes are achieved.

* Carry out site inductions and maintain high standards of health and safety.

* Ensure works are completed to programme and the required quality standards.

* Liaise with Project Managers, clients and site teams throughout the project.

* Lead by example and assist with site activities where required.

Requirements

* Proven experience working as a Working Foreman on refurbishment or fit-out projects.

* Trade background is essential.

* Happy to remain hands-on and get involved with the works on site.

* Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.

* CSCS Card.

* First Aid at Work (desirable).

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
