The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a portfolio of large-scale logistics developments across the M5 corridor. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple sites, delivering complex civil infrastructure and highways packages for a leading main contractor.
The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of civil and highways works across several major logistics schemes. This is a dynamic position requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple packages simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee commercial delivery of civil infrastructure and highways packages across multiple sites
Manage budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasting across projects
Administer NEC contracts, including compensation events and variations
Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation, and account management
Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and opportunities
Work closely with operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are met
Provide clear and accurate reporting to senior management
Mentor and support junior commercial staff where required
Requirements
Strong experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure, or highways
Proven track record managing multiple projects or sites simultaneously
Excellent knowledge of NEC forms of contract
Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Degree qualified or working towards a professional qualification (e.g., RICS)
