The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Currently recruiting for a great dealership group who are looking to recruit and experienced Alloy Wheel / Smart Repair Technician. Their Alloy Wheel Technicians provide an industry leading alloy wheel repair service with a focus on delivering a great customer experience every time!
Duties:
Restore both standard and diamond-cut alloy wheels to an exceptional finish using specialist mobile diamond-cut lathe repair equipment.
Complete all wheel refurbishment work in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry-leading repair standards.
Accurately colour-match alloy wheel finishes to deliver a seamless, factory-quality appearance.
Take pride in producing high-quality workmanship while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail on every repair.
Build positive relationships with customers by clearly explaining recommended repairs, agreeing work requirements, and obtaining approval for any associated costs before work begins.
Support the wider repair team by carrying out SMART repairs when required, helping to deliver a complete vehicle cosmetic repair service.
Requirements:
Previous experience in alloy wheel refurbishment, including diamond-cut wheel repairs, is essential.
Experience using mobile diamond-cut lathe equipment.
A strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding quality workmanship.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with customers.
A proactive team player who can work independently while contributing positively to a busy and professional environment.
Passionate about vehicle aesthetics and maintaining the highest repair standards.
