The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our client’s team in Eye, Suffolk.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on customer-focused engineering projects, producing accurate designs, drawings, and Bills of Materials that support efficient manufacturing and project delivery.
Working closely with engineering, production, and project teams, you'll play a key role in developing innovative design solutions, enhancing 3D design capabilities, and ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and to the highest standards. Ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and making a real impact.
Duties Include
Produce and review approval, fabrication, and construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and delivery within agreed timescales.
Create and check Bills of Materials (BOMs) and parts lists, ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and released efficiently to production.
Work closely with customers, colleagues, and manufacturing teams to ensure clear communication and the smooth flow of information.
Support the ongoing development and use of Autodesk Inventor 3D and Vault Professional across the Engineering & Design team.
Apply Design for Manufacture principles and value-engineering techniques to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.
Follow engineering best practice to design out hazards and minimise risk wherever reasonably possible.
Contribute ideas and initiatives that improve processes, efficiency, and overall team performance.
Actively support Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and ISO 9001 quality initiatives to enhance business performance. Skills and Attributes
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 3D, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software, along with AutoCAD.
Able to work independently, using initiative to deliver high-quality, accurate work within deadlines.
Strong engineering and manufacturing background with sound technical knowledge.
Experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Familiarity with ERP systems would be advantageous.
Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or relevant industry experience.
Knowledge of iLogic, Python, or other automation/programming tools would be beneficial. Company Benefits
