An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established company specialising in bespoke architectural and ornamental metalwork crafting high-quality custom metal structures.
As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing custom metal components with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
This full-time permanent role offers a minimum salary of £13 per hour plus commission and benefits.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Fabricating bespoke staircases, balustrades, gates, railings, balconies, and other architectural metalwork.
* Performing MIG welding on steel and other metals.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and workshop sketches.
* Cutting, drilling, grinding, assembling, and finishing components to high standards.
* Operating workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
* Collaborating with other fabricators and supporting site installation teams when required.
* Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
Have experience in:
* Ornamental metalwork (Staircases, Balustrades, Railings, Gates, Architectural metalwork)
* Structural work (Steel frames, Structural steel fabrication, Load-bearing metal structures)
What We Are Looking For:
* Previously worked as a Welder, Fabricator, MIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, Steel Fabricator, Welding Technician, Structural Welder or in a similar role.
* Have at least 3 years of welding and fabrication experience
* Strong MIG welding skills.
* Confident in interpreting and working from technical drawings.
* Ability to fabricate bespoke components to a high standard.
