We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a commercial project in London, starting in the next few weeks.
The successful candidate will have a strong background on commercial projects, with the ability to manage mechanical installation works and coordinate subcontractors effectively on site.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate mechanical installation works on site.
*
Supervise mechanical subcontractors and site operatives.
*
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
*
Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, construction and other trades.
*
Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives.
*
Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project team.
*
Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
*
Ensure RAMS, permits and site procedures are followed.
*
Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning and snagging.
*
Identify and resolve site issues and coordinate solutions with the wider project team.
*
Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial projects.
*
Valid SMSTS certificate – essential.
*
Valid CSCS card – essential.
*
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, including HVAC, pipework and associated systems.
*
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications.
*
Strong communication and coordination skills.
*
Good understanding of health & safety and site management procedures.
*
Experience managing mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
*
Commercial project experience is essential
Salary description
£250.00 - £300.00 per day
