Essential Requirements:
* Significant maintenance and engineering experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Previous supervisory, Team Leader or people management experience
* Proven ability to build strong working relationships and manage a diverse team
* Experience conducting appraisals, providing feedback and managing performance
* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding capabilities
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Teams, Excel and Word
* Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands effectively
* Strong understanding of health, safety and operational compliance requirements
Maintenance Planning:
* Lead, plan and prioritise maintenance activities across the site, balancing preventative maintenance, breakdown response and improvement projects
* Own and manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme, ensuring all tasks are completed to the required standard and timeframe
* Coordinate a prompt and effective response to equipment and machinery breakdowns
* Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
* Maintain effective spares and consumables management to support maintenance requirements
Continuous Improvement, Safety & Compliance:
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime, improve efficiency and enhance maintenance processes
* Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs, including machine downtime, breakdown trends, response times and repeat failures
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and promote a strong safety culture across all maintenance activities
* Support adherence to ISO standards and company quality requirement
