How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job description

We’re looking for a decisive and delivery-driven Hardware Platform Owner to take full accountability for the end-to-end lifecycle of user devices.

The Hardware Platform is accountable for delivering a modern device experience that supports flexible, hybrid working and enables productivity from day one. It owns the end-to-end lifecycle of user hardware, from strategic standards and supplier management through to provisioning, refresh, and retirement. The platform focuses on experience-led device design, ensuring equipment is reliable, secure, and aligned to user needs and personas. It drives efficiency and sustainability through lifecycle optimisation, asset intelligence, and streamlined fulfilment, ensuring employees are always equipped to perform at their best.

What you’ll be doing as a Hardware Platform Owner

Own device lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
Define hardware standards and strategy.
Manage suppliers and vendor performance.
Ensure secure and reliable device experience.
Drive sustainability and lifecycle optimisation.
Base location: Clearwater Court

Working pattern: Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm

Contract type: Permanent – Hybrid

Essential criteria

ITIL Foundation qualification. (or equivalent experience)
Experience managing hardware or device environments.
Knowledge of lifecycle and asset management.
Vendor and supplier management experience.
Ability to define user-focused standards.
Nice-to-haves

Large-scale device refresh experience.
Sustainable IT asset knowledge.
