We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team in Brighton, working on an external works programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RLO looking to join an established team, working closely with residents, site teams and the client to ensure works are communicated effectively and delivered with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the external works programme.
Carry out resident visits, pre-start meetings and regular communication throughout the works.
Explain the scope and programme of works clearly to residents.
Arrange access and appointments with residents where required.
Keep residents informed of progress, upcoming works and any changes to the programme.
Identify and support vulnerable residents, putting appropriate measures in place where required.
Manage resident queries, concerns and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
Liaise closely with site managers, supervisors, contractors and client representatives.
Attend site and resident meetings as required.
Maintain accurate records of resident communications, visits, appointments and feedback.
Escalate any issues or concerns and ensure they are followed through to resolution.
Help minimise disruption to residents and maintain strong relationships throughout the programme.
Promote excellent customer service and resident engagement.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, Customer Liaison Officer, or similar.
Experience working on external works, planned works, refurbishment or social housing projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident dealing with residents, contractors and client representatives.
Good IT and administrative skills.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.
