A friendly and supportive primary school in Reading is looking to appoint a committed ASD TA to join their team immediately. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with autism, helping them build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing learning environment.
As an ASD TA, you will work alongside class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support that enables pupils to engage successfully with their learning. Every day will bring the chance to have a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience within a well-established school.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality classroom and one-to-one support as an ASD TA
Adapt learning activities to meet the individual needs of pupils with autism
Use positive behaviour strategies to encourage engagement and progress
Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO in your role as an ASD TA
Promote independence, communication, and emotional wellbeingAbout the School

Candidate Requirements
A calm, patient, and compassionate approach
Previous experience supporting children with SEND is beneficial but not essential
