Your new role
We are looking for school science/lab technicians to join their friendly and supportive science departments for schools located in the Blackpool and Fylde Coast area. You will work closely with the science teachers to prepare and maintain the equipment and materials for practical experiments and demonstrations. You will also assist in the health and safety management of the laboratories and ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are followed.
These are full-time positions on a long-term, temporary, basis for at least a term initially - starting in ASAP this Autumn term.
What you'll need to succeed
* A relevant vocational qualification in laboratory or science-related activities or equivalent experience
* A good knowledge of scientific techniques, equipment and materials
* A commitment to health and safety in schools
* A strong commitment to supporting students' learning and achievement
* A flexible and proactive approach to work
* A willingness to undertake further training and development as required
