Job Title: Maths Teacher

Salary: £150 - £195 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Hereford that is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher from September. The school offers a supportive and ambitious learning environment, with a strong focus on high standards, positive relationships and ongoing professional development, making it an excellent setting for a Maths Teacher to thrive.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Maths Teacher on a long-term supply basis for the full academic year. This Maths Teacher role offers consistency and stability from September through to July, with the successful Maths Teacher teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, alongside full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, marking, assessment, CPD and form tutor duties.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Mathematics specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Mathematics up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong lesson planning, preparation and assessment skills
• Excellent classroom management
• A commitment to raising standards and supporting student progress
• A positive, adaptable and professional approach
