Your responsibilities as Skilled Butcher
Prepare and cut meat and poultry to consistently high standards
Produce value-added products including sausages and burgers
Deliver knowledgeable and professional customer service
Maintain attractive, fully stocked and well-presented displays
Support customer orders and the smooth day-to-day running of the shop
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and quality standards
What we’re looking for in a Skilled Butcher
Previous butchery experience
Strong knife skills and excellent product knowledge
Experience serving customers within a retail environment
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
Experience producing value-added meat products is desirable
Working hours
45 hours per week, working a variety of shifts including early preparation shifts from 7:00am, mid shifts and late shifts finishing around 7:15pm–7:30pm. Weekend working is required on a rotating schedule.
