Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Clitheroe, Ribble Valley to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher for a full-time maternity cover from September 2026 to February 2027.

The successful teacher will deliver an engaging and ambitious Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, while supporting pupils' academic, personal and emotional development. They will join a collaborative staff team that values teamwork, professional development and the wellbeing of both pupils and staff.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience teaching Year 5 or Upper Key Stage 2.
Plan and deliver engaging, creative and purposeful lessons.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement.
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
Promote confidence, independence, respect and a love of learning.
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
