The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Overview
A leading organisation in the defence and security sector is looking for a Project Engineer to join an established Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) projects function.
The role sits within a digital and radiation effects focused team, working on electromagnetic modelling and simulation, and supporting qualification and risk-reduction strategies across complex engineering programmes.
This is a good fit for someone with a strong grounding in electronics/electromagnetics, plus modelling and simulation experience, who enjoys combining technical work with project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll be doing
Supporting the development and deployment of digital proving techniques and methodologies
Applying quality assurance approaches to electromagnetic modelling and simulation, including verification and validation activities
Contributing to risk-reduction and qualification strategies that support efficient delivery into service
Producing engineering documentation such as environmental requirement specifications and supporting evidence packs
Collaborating with parallel EMC project teams, including opportunities to review hardware and support investigative testing where required
What we're looking for
Essential:
Degree-level education (or significant equivalent experience) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, EMC or similar
Experience using simulation solvers such as FEM, FIT, or similar numerical methods
Experience with SPICE simulation tools
Strong problem-solving skills and sound understanding of electronic technologies
Able to deliver to deadlines and within agreed budgetsDesirable:
Exposure to EM simulation tools such as CST Studio or ANSYS HFSS
Verification and validation (V&V) experience for numerical solvers
Defence, aerospace, or other regulated engineering background
CAD experience in any package
Knowledge of radiation effects, EMC design principles, or EMC support delivery
Familiarity with military/industry EMC standards (for example Def Stan 59-114 / 59-411, AECTP 500, MIL-STD-461, RTCA DO-160 / EUROCAE ED-14)
