Location: Tewkesbury
Salary/Package: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum, (DOE), 25 days Holiday plus banks, Company Perks, Pension & more.
Purpose of the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Designer to join a growing construction and building services business based in Gloucestershire area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HVAC Designer with strong Revit and CAD experience to work on a range of commercial and industrial projects, developing detailed HVAC designs from concept through to construction.
You’ll work in a superb team as a HVAC Designer, collaborating, sharing ideas and information where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed HVAC designs, layouts and technical drawings using Revit and CAD.
Develop HVAC systems for new-build and refurbishment projects.
Undertake and/or support heating and cooling load calculations and system sizing.
Select appropriate HVAC equipment and components.
Coordinate mechanical designs, structural and other M&E services.
Produce design documentation, specifications and associated technical information.
Review designs during construction and assist with resolving technical/site issues.
Attend project meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
Ensure designs comply with relevant UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guidance and industry standards.
Assist with the development and improvement of internal design standards and processes.
Manage multiple projects and design deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in HVAC/Mechanical Design within the building services or construction sector.
Strong Revit experience, ideally Revit MEP.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD/CAD.
A strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical building services.
Experience producing professional technical drawings and design documentation.
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors and internal teams.
