The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Please note that the Skilled CNC Machinists roles are going to be on a 3-shift rotating pattern which will include mornings, afternoons and nights.
Core duties and responsibilities:
Follow technical instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high-quality machining across a variety of different components and product families.
Operate a variety of Inspection equipment, both mechanical and electronic.
As a Skilled CNC Machinist, you will interpret manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
Assessment of whether the quality of components produced meet required standards.
Effective team work to resolve quality issues and ensure work is being completed to plan.
Scope to train and work across a variety of machinesRequirements:
Applicants must have a time served advanced apprenticeship with a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)/Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 3 or equivalent. To support any application, please attach a copy of your certificates as proof of completing a recognised apprenticeship together with your CV.
Experience with aerospace components would be preferable.
Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.
