The home recently achieved a GOOD rating in its first Ofsted inspection and provides support within a small group living environment for children and young people.
Due to increasing occupancy within the service, the provider is now recruiting:
* Residential Childcare Workers
* Team Leaders
Salary:
* Residential Childcare Worker (unqualified/no experience): £13.00 per hour
* Residential Childcare Worker (qualified or 2+ years experience): £13.50 per hour
* Team Leader: £14.30 per hour
* Sleep-in payment: £65 per sleep
Shift Pattern:
Shifts operate on a rolling rota and run from 10:00am until 10:30am the following morning including a sleep-in.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting children and young people within a residential care setting
* Promoting positive outcomes, routines, and emotional wellbeing
* Safeguarding children and maintaining professional boundaries
* Supporting education, appointments, and daily activities
* Working collaboratively within the care team
* Maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements:
* Passion for working with children and young people
* Ability to work within a residential shift pattern including sleep-ins
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience within EBD and/or Learning Disability services preferred
* For Team Leader roles, candidates should hold or be working towards a Level 3 qualification with at least 75% completed
