The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Launcher Physical Architect to work on one of the UK's most advanced Ground Based Air Defence Systems. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and evolution of a product already protecting customers internationally while supporting exciting future developments.
This role offers exposure across the full product lifecycle-from development and production through to customer support and future capability enhancements. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and programme teams, helping ensure products are delivered successfully, on time, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the definition and management of product and launcher configurations
Coordinating engineering changes and product updates across multiple stakeholders
Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and project teams to support programme delivery
Ensuring accurate product data and build standards are maintained throughout the lifecycle
Contributing to problem solving, continuous improvement and product quality initiatives
Engaging with UK and international teams to support programme objectives
What We're Looking For:
A technical, engineering, manufacturing, or project-based background
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
An organised and proactive approach to problem solving
Experience working within complex products, systems, programmes, or highly regulated industries
An interest in defence technology and delivering capability that makes a real difference
Experience in configuration management, product lifecycle management (PLM), systems engineering, or change management would be beneficial but is not essential. We're open to applicants from a variety of engineering and technical disciplines.
