The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
The CBPM Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing commercial relationships across Syri's cannabis-based products for medicinal use (CBPM) business. The role is primarily focused on account management, customer service and revenue growth, with approximately 15-20% dedicated to new business development through targeted prospecting and lead generation.
Key responsibilities include acting as the main commercial contact for assigned customers, building trusted relationships and developing account plans aligned to customer needs and growth objectives. The Account Executive supports onboarding, product launches, packaging coordination, order progression and ongoing supply requirements while providing timely responses to customer enquiries and resolving service issues through effective internal collaboration.
The role is responsible for delivering revenue, margin and account growth targets by identifying opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through additional products, services and long-term partnerships. This includes maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, preparing quotations and commercial proposals, supporting forecasting activities and working with Finance on invoicing and account queries.
A smaller but important element of the position involves new business development. The Account Executive will identify and qualify potential customers, conduct outbound prospecting activities including calls, emails and LinkedIn engagement, arrange introductory meetings and support progression through the sales process.
Working closely with Production, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Distribution and Finance teams, the role ensures a coordinated customer experience while maintaining compliance with company procedures and industry regulations. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate CRM records, appropriately escalating quality complaints or pharmacovigilance issues, protecting confidential information and ensuring no unapproved medical or promotional claims are made.
Performance is measured through achievement of revenue and margin targets, customer retention and satisfaction, pipeline development, lead generation activity, forecast accuracy, CRM data quality and effective cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, customer success, sales or business development, with a proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver commercial growth. Strong communication, organisation and CRM skills are essential, along with confidence in prospecting and handling customer interactions. Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical cannabis or other regulated industries is advantageous, as is knowledge of the UK CBPM market and awareness of GDP/GMP, controlled drug or pharmacovigilance requirements.
