TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large nursery in central York that provides a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for young children. The nursery offers excellent indoor and outdoor learning opportunities and is dedicated to helping every child grow in confidence through play-based learning and positive relationships.
The nursery is looking to appoint a full time Nursery Assistant on a permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will be based within the preschool room, supporting children as they prepare for the transition into primary school by delivering engaging activities, promoting independence and working closely with the wider nursery team to provide high-quality care and education.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable
Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning and development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive, can-do attitude
