The Role
As Chef de Partie, you’ll take responsibility for your section and support the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen. You’ll prepare and present dishes to a high standard, maintain excellent hygiene and help train junior team members. Organisation, consistency and a positive approach will be key.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
• Running your section efficiently and maintaining excellent cleanliness
• Following menu specifications set by the Head Chef
• Managing stock rotation, ordering and correct storage
• Supporting with new menu development
• Maintaining high personal hygiene and uniform standards
• Complying with all food safety and allergen procedures
• Helping control stock, portions and waste to support kitchen profitability
What We’re Looking For
• Experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a hotel kitchen
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow standards
• Confident working in a fast paced environment
• Good communication with both kitchen and restaurant teams
• A supportive team player with a positive attitude
