We are currently recruiting for a Process Operator on behalf of a well-established and growing FMCG manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that continues to invest in its people, processes, and technology, offering long-term career progression.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are processed efficiently and supplied to packaging lines, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene at all times.
The Role
As a Process Operator, your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out a variety of process operations including fermentation preparation, product filtration, syrup make-up, and bright tank preparation
Operating key machinery such as pasteurisers and supporting the loading and unloading of tankers
Accurately inputting production data into internal systems (SAP)
Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with production schedules to meet daily output targets
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across the work area
Adhering to strict health, safety, and quality procedures within a regulated production environment
Supporting operations both indoors and outdoors as required
Shift Patterns
This role operates on a rotating shift basis:
Mornings: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Afternoons: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am
Please note: During the initial training period you will work mornings and afternoons only.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or process environment (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good level of numeracy and confidence working with data
Computer literate,
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and shift patterns
