We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join a Commercial Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to become the key link between customers and internal departments, ensuring excellent service while supporting the end-to-end order process.

You will be responsible for managing customer orders, maintaining strong customer relationships, and working closely with production, sales, and other internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working in a fast-paced environment, and delivering exceptional customer service.

* Annual Salary of circa £27 000 – £28 500

* 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays

* Mon – Fri: 37.5 hours a week

Key Responsibilities for the role of the Sales Administrator:

* Process customer orders accurately and in timely manner using an ERP system

* Manage order amendments, cancellations and re-bookings

* Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate any changes or delays to customers

* Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email while handling customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently

* Maintain customer and product master data including processing customer price changes and maintain price lists

* Generate quotes and raise credit notes where required

* Liaise with internal departments including Sales and Production to ensure seamless order fulfilment

Skills and Requirements:

* At least 1-year previous experience in office-based Customer Service, Sales Support or Order Processing

* Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Experience using ERP systems or similar systems

* The ability to work independently while also being an effective team player

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
