We are seeking an experienced Personal Development Tutor with a background in a further education setting. This part-time role (30 hours per week) is ideal for someone passionate about supporting learners’ personal and academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support learners’ personal development, including positive behaviours and employability
* Deliver group tutorial sessions in line with the Personal Development scheme of work
* Conduct regular 1:1 reviews to monitor progress (academic, vocational, personal)
* Identify and support ‘at risk’ learners, recording interventions and impact
* Support learners with ILPs and track progress
* Promote employability skills and progression opportunities
* Monitor attendance and punctuality, taking action where required
* Assist with UCAS applications and signpost additional support services
* Work closely with teaching staff and support teams
Requirements:
* Level 4 qualification (or willingness to achieve within 2 years)
* Experience supporting learners aged 16+ with additional needs (learning, social, emotional, behavioural)
* Experience in a learning support or similar role
* Enhanced DBS

£18.00 - £23.00 per hour
