What will the Accounts & Administration Assistant role involve?
• Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records within the finance system.
• Completing bank reconciliations and assisting with day-to-day financial administration.
• Managing employee expense claims and supporting purchase order processes.
• Providing administrative support to various departments and project teams across the business.
• Maintaining databases and ensuring company records remain accurate and up to date.
• Assisting with onboarding activities for new employees, including arranging equipment and administrative setup.
• Preparing reports, documentation and correspondence as required.
• Handling incoming telephone calls and general office enquiries.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business processes and efficiencies.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts & Administration Assistant vacancy:
• Previous experience within an accounts, finance administration or office support role.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using accounting software; previous Xero exposure would be advantageous.
• AAT studies or an interest in developing a finance qualification would be beneficial.
