An outstanding secondary school in Barking is looking to appoint a Business and Economics Teacher on a full-time, permanent contract from September 2026. The school has excellent behaviour and strong academic outcomes, offering a positive and purposeful environment for a committed teacher to make a lasting impact.
The successful Business and Economics Teacher will teach mixed ability groups from Year 10 through Year 13. Students follow the AQA syllabus for GCSE and A Level in both subjects. Business and Economics department achieves outstanding results across both key stages making this an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and qualified teacher or ECT.
To be considered for this role, you will:
• Hold QTS
• Have a degree in Economics, Business or a closely related subject
• Have experience teaching Economics and Business at GCSE and/or A-level
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach mixed ability groups
• Be able to contribute to outstanding outcomes across KS4 and KS5
• Hold UK Right to Work
