Job title: Stores Operative
Location: Hythe (must drive and have your own transport due to location)
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Salary: £12.80 per hour / £26,624 per annum

Job overview:

We are seeking a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join our client's growing operation., to support with the handling, storage and distribution of materials and products across the site and to their customers.

Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
Picking, packing and dispatching goods.
Loading and unloading deliveries.
Storing materials in the correct locations.
Maintaining accurate stock records.
Assisting with stock checks.
Ensuring paperwork and system updates are updated.
Operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts - if trained)
Reporting any discrepancies, damages or shortages.Essential skills and experience:

Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
Good attention to detail
Basic IT skills
Good communication skills
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)Next steps:
