We are recruiting for a well-established business based in Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will join a team of Assistant Accountants managing their own portfolio of clients.
You will be responsible for:
* Maintain sales ledger.
* Monitoring of aged debtors.
* Maintain purchase ledger.
* Processing of invoices.
* Preparing BACS payment.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Prepare VAT returns.
* Prepare monthly management reports.
* Cash flow analysis.
* Prepare annual accounts information for review.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or studying towards qualification but this isn’t essential if you have experience working in a similar role. You will ideally have a good understanding of VAT. You will need good communication skills, both written and verbal and be a competent IT user, to include Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
